Golden Globes 2022: The Complete List Of Winners

On Sunday, The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the winners of the 2022 Golden Globes via Twitter. The Power of the Dog (Netflix) won best drama and West Side Story (20th Century/Disney) nabbed best musical or comedy.

Nicole Kidman (Being the Ricardos) won best actress in a drama, while Will Smith (King Richard) nabbed actor. Andrew Garfield (Tick, Tick … Boom!) took home best actor in a musical or comedy.

For TV, Succession won best drama series and Hacks won best musical or comedy series, both from HBO. Succession star Jeremy Strong was named best actor in a drama and co-star Sarah Snook picked up best supporting actress. Hacks star Jean Smart earned best actress in a musical or comedy. Michaela Jaé Rodriguez (Pose) won best actress in a drama, and Jason Sudeikis (Ted Lasso) took home best actor in a musical or comedy.

At the opening remarks during Sunday’s sparse ceremony, Hoehne said, ''We’re going to be outspoken about what we’re learning and challenge others to join us with members from more than 50 countries. We have a unique place in the awards universe.''

In addition to announcing the film and TV winners, the HFPA showcased its philanthropic efforts and spotlighted organizations like St. Elmo Village, which provides a place for people to explore their creativity, and Get Lit, which uses poetry to increase teen literacy.
